Week Two - Task 04. - “Spotting Signs”

Postby Katherine Laurier » Fri May 10, 2024 2:20 pm

The discussion at the Great Hall with the newly created Celestial Conundrum Committee was fruitful, but you won’t be able to get far without more action. For today, to start the adventure in getting to the bottom of this sudden mystery, the group has planned to look for things that will allow you all to move further in your journey.

You’re not sure where to start, so as a group, you decide to roam all the floors from the dungeons up to the highest tower in search for clues.

Task:
This is a task where you must scavenge around the site and bring what is being asked (which must be within the premises and ownership of HOL), like a simple game of bring me, but online. You may bring me a link to the page or its name. For example, if the prompt was 'Look for a place on HOL where you interact with other people', you could bring the link to or say 'owls', 'HOL Forum', 'House Forums', 'Chatrooms/IRC', or whichever place pops in your mind. This is subjective, so any answers are acceptable and none are 'incorrect' as long as it resonates with what is being requested.

Scavenge the Castle! Look for the following around HOL:
1. A place on HOL with information.
2. A place on HOL that you like to participate in.
3. Your favorite place on HOL

You must give an answer to all 3 to earn the full 10 beans (3 beans per answer, the last bean if you answer all 3). To further clarify, let’s go to the first example. The first prompt is to look for a place on HOL with information. Thus, give me the link to the page or the name itself of a place on HOL which, for you, has information. Same goes with the second prompt, a place that you like to participate in, and the third, your favorite place on HOL. Send your answer in a Private Message at the Roost to Katherine Laurier with the title "Week Two - Task 04. - “Spotting Signs”".

Alternatively, write at least 125 words about a time you searched for something. What were you looking for and why? Perhaps this is a material object or something abstract, such as information, inspiration, ideas, and so on. Were you successful in finding and looking for it? If not, how did you deal with not being able to find it?

This task is worth 10 beans. You can earn an additional 10 bonus beans for completing all Week Two tasks by Friday, May 31st, at 11:59 PM (HOL time).
